Mr Philip Gover (UK)

Phil graduated from Durham University (UK) with a BA Hons’ in Community Development. Further academic studies include an MPH (Public Health) from Northumbria University and an MA (Enterprise Management) from Durham Business School.

Phil is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.  Phil has worked in developing countries in East Africa, and various youth settings across Europe.

Following 3 years development work within Northumbria University Sustainable Cities Institute, Phil spent 12 years working as a senior manager within local government and the UK NHS (Public Health).

Having established Health Squared, a UK based Social Enterprise; Phil now supports, develops and helps promote the concepts of social enterprise, by blending the key elements of community development with the fundamental aspects of ‘shared value’ business practice.
